MDC Gives Mugabe One Month Ultimatum To Fix Things

Prime Minister Morgan TsvangiraiThe MDC party in Zimbabwe headed by Zimbabwe’s eloquent and dignified Prime Minister, Morgan Tsvangirai, has given the Zimbabwean dictator Robert Mugabe, 30 Days to implement the power-sharing agreement or face total collapse of the unity government. The decision was made at a recent meeting of The South African Development Community (SADC) The MDC condition was put forward after the party agreed to end its cabinet boycott. In a statement to reporters at the summit, Mr Tsvangirai said “We have suspended our disengagement from the GPA (Global Political Agreement) with immediate effect and we will give President Robert Mugabe 30 days to implement the agreement on the pertinent issues we are concerned about,”

The MDC boycott started in October when the Party accused the Mugabe government of failing to fully implement the peace deal. The SADC meeting was attended by Swaziland’s King Mswati III, Mozambican President Armando Guebuza, Zambian President Rupiah Banda and President Jacob Zuma of South Africa. The Zimbabwean Dictator who according to reports is suffering from a urinary disorder, also managed to attend the meeting along with Prime Minister Tsvangirai. The Prime Minister has been working tirelessly to secure donor funds to drive the Zimbabwean economy until the country can stand on its feet again. Political analysts have commended Prime Minister Tsvangirai for his diplomatic skills in convincing foreign countries to part with necessary funds to aid the ailing Zimbabwean economy.
