Malawi President Dr. Joyce Banda has appointed Dr. Chrissy Muyeriwa as a Diplomat in Mozambique, the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) in Malawi has announced.
Dr. Muyeriwa is among the many women that President Banda has appointed within the year she has been in office.
The new Mozambique envoy, who according to the Malawi OPC, has already started discharging her duties, has worked in several top positions before, like at the Malawi National Examinations Board, in government as Principal Secretary, and of late as a Board Member of the National Commission of Science and Technology.
The Malawian High Commission is one of 68 foreign representations in Mozambique, and one of 30 Malawian Diplomatic and Consular representations abroad.
