Ghanaian PRESIDENT MAHAMA ARRIVES IN ABIDJAN GIVEN AN HONORARY CITIZENSHIP

President John Dramani Mahama has been given an honorary citizen of Côte d’Ivoire during an official visit to Abidjan at the invitation of his counterpart Alasanne Ouattara, on June 1, 2016. President Mahama who was accompanied by his wife, Lordina, and a high powered government delegation, were received at the Airport by President Ouattara and his wife.

President Mahama held talks with his Ivorian counterpart, and discussed topical issues that concern both countries including bilateral agreements and how to deepen diplomatic ties. Relations between Ghana and its western neighbour have seen tremendous improvement under the leadership of Presidents Mahama and Ouattara.
