Police in Malawi have confirmed the brutal killing of a secondary school teacher in Dedza district, central Malawi, alongside his wife and the demise of the life of a six-month old baby, which has been associated to the sudden disappearance of a house boy who was staying with the family right in the house outside the school campus.
The teacher, Mr. Cashion Phiri is said to have died of a stab wound while the wife of head injuries after being hit by a hard object but the life of the little baby is suspected to have been lost due to starvation as there was no one to take care of its feeding needs following the demise of the parents.
The bodies of the three were found in a decomposed state in their bedroom, Umbwi Secondary School Headmaster, Kalirani Chunga and Dedza Police Spokesperson, Edward Kabango confirmed.
The Police are hunting for the 17-year old boy reportedly from the neighbouring district of Ntcheu in the same region who is believed to have escaped after occasioning the harm.
The house was force opened days after the three had died and it was after the community had suspected foul play since for days on end the house was locked.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that the teacher was found without private parts, which could be what the murderer mainly wanted.
