While on his visit to the United Kingdom (UK) in the company of His Excellency the Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, comedian Walter Mong’are alias Nyambane has made his intentions clear of aspiring to venture into the political arena.

During a ceremony organized by Wiper’s flag bearer Kalonzo Musyoka in UK, Nyambane was quoted stating that “every human being has a political interest in them.” He now joins the ever growing list of entertainers in the local scene who’ve for time and again opted to vie for one of the political positions in their preferred areas of preference.

Nyambane is now expected to contest for a parliamentary seat in Kisii under the Wiper ticket. He emerges as one among many of the well-known local entertainers who’ve opted to try their fate in the unpredictable political field. He now joins the likes of Man Ingwe, who also has been quoted on several occasions of having political ambitions and singer Ringtone who tried his luck during his hometown’s by-elections.

It would be remembered that he was the Master of Ceremony (MC) during Wiper’s delegates Conference held at Kasarani, where Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka was nominated for the Party’s top position.

Will his new focus be a hit or a miss? Well, that would only be a wait and see affair given the fact that he does have a good number of influence from his acting arena.
