Nigeria midfielder Lukman Haruna has signed for Ukraine’s Dynamo Kiev, completing a US$2.8 million move from French club AS Monaco. He joined Monaco in 2007 shortly after he captained Nigeria to the Under-17 World Cup title in South Korea. The 21-year-old was part of the Super Eagles squad at last year’s World Cup in South Africa and played against Argentina and Greece. Monaco were relegated from the French first division this season. There was also interest from clubs in England and France but none would match Monaco’s asking price.
