Child porn bust in Bosnia as police charge suspect

BANJA LUKA, March 20, 2011 (AFP) – Police have seized a vast collection of child pornography and charged a suspect in the biggest bust of its kind in Bosnia, press reports said quoting an official spokeswoman. Some “two million photos and 7,000 video clips with child pornography content” were found during a search of a house in the northern Bosnian town of Derventa, Bosnian Serb interior ministry spokeswoman Mirna Soja told local media. She called it “the biggest collection so far of child pornography in Bosnia”.

Soja did not identify the suspect, but the SRNA news agency reported the man’s name as Samir Skelic and said he was suspected of “cooperation” with an international online paedophile ring, though did not elaborate.
