To the commenter above – I am sorry but you are the one that is ignorant. The writer is correct, we in Somalia don’t want Sharia law as it is un-islamic. Muslims around the world don’t want Sharia only extremists like you will support this jihadist nonesense.

How ignorant the writer and how ignorant the story. Correct al-shabab is a terrorist al qaeda proxy but most Somalis are NOT against sharia and know it is part of Islam but the implementation of it and understanding of it from al-shabab is what most somalis are against. its hard to say stats when there can be non taken. We should learn about Islam before we speak about it.
